Project Description:

SBA was also retained by Grassy Narrows First Nation to complete a Water System Feasibility Study. The feasibility study is required by the First Nation Community to determine the best long-term solution for developing an effective and reliable water supply, treatment, storage and distribution, including servicing options for remote sections of the community referred to as Mission Hill and Snake Point.

SBA will fully define the identified alternatives and provide an evaluation of each of these alternatives. Through this process, SBA will determine the best and most preferred water supply option that will provide an adequate and reliable supply of safe drinking water to the community for the future, while complying with current Federal and Ontario Drinking Water Quality Guidelines, Regulations, and Standards. SBA will recommend the most efficient, reliable, cost effective and operator friendly water system alternative for the long term and planned growth of the community
